Investigating Inland.

The  Mistral hit, as forecast,  and we hired a car for a day, bit safer than the moped!!! And ventured firstly into Olbia….and seemed to find the best part of it quickly…piccs below..

We then took the road across to the west of the Island, up into the hills via a beautiful and very old place called Tempio Pausanna

And then  onto Alghero on the West Coast, despite all instincts telling us we were likely to get swept off our feet by the winds! However, not sure why, but the winds seems less over there, than on the East Coast!

Alghero

After the winds died down, we left Olbia for 2 days, headed north and had one wonderful peaceful night on anchor then followed by one with white capps flying around us, despite the bay we chose being described as protected!!!

Next stop, back to Olbia to pick up the boys.. Now we can wear our hats.. the question is who is Captain and who is Skipper!!!!

Guess whose's who?
