Continuing Eastward along the French Riviera
Having left the madness of St Tropez and calmness of our bay, which was to be no more due to a change of wind direction we set sail again on 17th June back towards Frejus and anchored off in between that and its neighbour St Raphael, although we didn’t venture off the boat to go and explore on this occasion.

And then again, to the laid back Rade de Agay, the following morning, chasing more comfortable conditions in easterly winds. Having dropped our anchor in a nice calm spot we were then approached from a charming guy called Nemo who politely advised it was a no anchoring zone, well except much further out with not much shelter and invited us to take a buoy…throwing in a lift in his super fast rib to to go ashore which we duly accepted, to have a typical french lunch of Sseak tartare, frites, salad and vino…

Little did we know that this was going to be the last full day of sunshine for, well so far close onto 2 weeks, worse, rain, even worse, red rain which just turned our poor Seaclusion into a puddle of mud!
We actually stayed on our buoy for 3 nights, hiding… finally departing on the 21st June to the Old Port of Cannes, to of course explore, but also to do some much needed laundry, provisioning and most importantly to clean our poor minging boat, as a bucket of limited water with a sponge was just not up to the task of cleaning something akin to a mud bath!
