Seaclusion´s 2024 Journey is about to start!

So, albeit a week later than originally planned due to ill health (just a nasty little bacteria that made Chantal´s body its home for 6 weeks, nothing to worry about going forward), we are due to leave our lovely home in Cabrera next Tuesday with a fully laden car and head north through Spain and into France, hoping to set our sights on Seaclusion late Wednesday, fingers crossed she has fared well over the windy winter that besets Port Saint Louis du Rhône, yes you guessed, at the bottom of the Rhone River where it joins the Mediterranean Sea.

Below is a map of our provisional plan, subject of course to the weather and the usual mishaps! Essentially we are going to take our time this summer visiting the wonderful coastline of Southern France, probably giving Monaco a miss, at least with Seaclusion because of all the red tape, crossing over to San Remo in Italy and working our way down her beautiful coast to the beautiful colourful towns that make up Italy´s infamous Cinque Terre (https://www.cinqueterre.eu.com/en/), Portofino and beyond until we are level with the stunning Island of Elba. From there, we aim to head across to Bastia on the North East coast of Corsica and back to San Remo, then back through France to the same winter home as last year. If we have enough time, we may even sail down the East Coast of Corsica to revisit the Magdalena Islands, Bonifacio and back up the West coast to Calvi and across to France, who knows as in reality, when on Seaclusion the plan is to have no plan!

We hope you will all love joining us on our expedition to pastures new, once again!
